Built
in 1880, the villa was the country residence of the architect Giovanni
Battista Milani, one of the most important exponents of the Roman
architecture of the first decades of the twentieth century , who
enlarged and furnished it according to the classical-renaissance
characteristics of the time, enriched by the refined taste of the
impassioned of ancient art. |
Situated a few
kilometers from the historical centre of Spoleto, in a splendid
position that dominates the town, surrounded by eight hectares of
natural meadows and woods, the Villa has been learnedly restored by
Giovanna Milani and Luigi Capobianchi to be turned into a hotel
that combines the unchanged original characteristics, the conforts
of homely hospitality and high quality. |

The
Villa was declared "Epoch Residence" by the Regione Umbria in December
1999. There
is a plan to realize a spa where, in a calm, refined and exclusive
atmosphere, the guests will
be able to regenerate and recover their own
psyco-physical equilibrium.
