The eighteen-century portal of the Salon opens on a pleasant Italian garden, with flowerbeds of antique roses, lavender and agapanthus, surrounded by box hedges. The garden is embellished by some Renaissance works such as a marble fountain and a travertine balustrade which seems to protect a panoramic view over Spoleto, characterised by a mythological statue under an age-old yew.

A capital esting on a basalt column and a milestone, both dating back to the Roman age of the Historic House, give the garden of the Historic hotel the same charming eclecticism characterising the Lounge. In summer, this area is the ideal place to enjoy "alfresco" the delicious breakfast buffet or the excellent food from the "Light Lunch Menu" at noon or the “Fixed Menu Dinner" in the evening.
