The Lounge
Architectural "pastiche" created by architect G.B. Milani is emphasised by the eclectic Lounge, and its marvellous coffered ceiling with fine gold decorations, the monumental sixteenth - century fireplace and the magnificent seventeenth - century portal on which the Latin motto "Pacem Naturae Quaero" stands out (I want the peace that only Nature is able to give). recious period furniture, valuable paintings and an impressive library rich in eighteenth and nineteenth - century architectural books are part of the luxurious furnishings of the Lounge.
In such a charming environment and on special occasions like New Year's Eve or Easter, our guests can enjoy the impressive nineteenth-century atmosphere of chamber music concerts. From the Loggia, finely decorated with the frescos by Antonino Calcagnadoro you can enjoy the picture-postcard view of Spoleto and the medieval villages which skirt the Umbrian valley: Trevi, Spello, Montefalco and Assisi in the distance on the slopes of Monte Subasio.
